As a Full-Time Tax Preparer, you’ll play a critical role in serving our diverse client base. You’ll prepare a variety of tax returns, work directly with clients, and help ensure accuracy and compliance—all while collaborating with a supportive, growth-minded team.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, trusts, estates, and nonprofits
- Research tax-related issues and respond to client questions promptly and professionally
- Communicate with clients to gather needed information and provide timely updates
- Perform bookkeeping adjustments to support tax return preparation
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
- 3+ years of experience preparing tax returns
- Strong knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines under pressure
- High level of confidentiality, professionalism, and independence
- Strong organizational and software proficiency (including Microsoft Office)

Duties include:
- Preparing bank reconciliations as needed by client
- Setting up payroll services for new clients as well as running live payroll
- Preparing payroll quarterly and annual filings
- Preparing 1099s
- Preparing sales tax returns
- Managing client accounts receivable and/or payables as needed
- Full-time availability for client communication/meetings in office
Experience requirements:
- 4-year degree preferred
- 5+ years managing multiple client’s bookkeeping needs
- 5+ years direct client communication with excellent customer service
- Proficiency with QuickBooks Desktop as well as QuickBooks Online
- Proficiency with all Microsoft Office products
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Research, track and resolve accounting problems
